New authors should experiment with different forms of creative writing.
Some people enjoy creating poetry, while others are more comfortable with short stories.
Those students publish novels and collections of poems and stories, place work in top literary magazines, and win important prizes, fellowships, and contests.
Our faculty includes David Bottoms, Beth Gylys, and Leon Stokesbury in poetry, and John Holman, and Sheri Joseph, and Josh Russell in fiction.
