Your task is to choose the solution that you think is best and then explain why that solution is the best one. Here are a few to get you thinking: If we use prescription drug use again as the example, there could be several solutions to the problem.

One solution could be that people should be better educated on the dangers of prescription drug abuse.

You want as much information as possible so that you can describe the problem in detail.

How many deaths each year are the result of prescription drug abuse?

Another fun way to use this list is to call out the items under “Solutions” (without sharing the items under Problems) and have students come-up with different types of problems they could solve.
